Would you like to help women and children in your community better their lives? You can help by donating to the WRSFV below.

Donate Now Through CanadaHelps.org!\
Donate to the Women's Resource Society of the Fraser Valley online at CanadaHelps.org

Donations to the WRSFV directly benefit the women and children who live in our second stage housing projects. We receive limited government operational funding to pay for the wrap-around support each woman and child receives when they live in our housing projects. The “silent partners” who donate money help us to ensure that no resident goes without good nutrition, transportation to necessary appointments, opportunities for recreation, and prescription medicines that are not covered by BC Pharmacare. We thank you for your compassion and support!

Mediterranean Summer
in the Courtyard

Fronya fashion models, belly dancers, an inspiring female musician, superb volunteers and charming guests made up this first Mediterranean Summer in the Courtyard event.

On Saturday July 10th the Women’s Resource Society of the Fraser Valley hosted its 4th fashion show. This year’s show had a Mediterranean theme and we took it outdoors.

The evening was held in the private courtyard where Fronya Thrift Boutique store is located. The event brought in exuberant talents with shimmying hips, ringing zils and balancing swords. These undulating dance troupes dazzled the crowd in the summer evening heat. Singer/ songwriter Delaney Rose took time from her busy schedule to inspire us with her songs of hope and love.

Thank you to all of the guests, talent, volunteers, donors, sponsors and contributors to this fun night. Your support enhances ongoing programs for the women and children we serve.
